Moderate very coarse prismatic structure parting to weak medium 
subangular blocky parting to moderate fine granular structure.  Hard, friable, 
very sticky and plastic with a few medium irregular carbonate nodules and 
snail shell fragments.  1.40% organic carbon, 1.3% extractable Fe, 38.2% 
clay, 27.4% silt, 34.4% sand.

Chemical analyses give 3% CaCO3.
